Over the course of three days, historians, art historians, archivists, European riding schools, philosophers, artists and craftsmen of excellence will take a multidisciplinary approach to exploring the role of the horse in the history of Versailles.

This half-day event will evoke the use of the horse in Court society in France and England, through hunting, racing and exercise, as well as the equestrian education of Princes and the practice of horsemanship by women.
