Château - Auditorium Pavillon DufourPavillon Dufour - Auditorium 78000 VERSAILLES On September 25, 26 and 27, 2024, the Palace of Versailles is organizing the International Meetings on Versailles and equestrian culture, from the past to the present.

Over the course of three days, historians, art historians, archivists, European riding schools, philosophers, artists and craftsmen of excellence will take a multidisciplinary approach to exploring the role of the horse in the history of Versailles.
the role of the horse and equestrian civilization from the 16th century to the present day.

This half-day event will evoke the use of the horse in Court society in France and England, through hunting, racing and exercise, as well as the equestrian education of Princes and the practice of horsemanship by women.
